Some people despise small beginning. They do not recognize that the little carries greatness.
Remember Elijah? His servant only saw little cloud in the sky as small as a man’s hand; but it carried with it an abundance of rain. (1 Kings 18:44-45)
- King David only had five small stones, and yet with those he killed the giant Goliath.
- The little boy only had five small loafs and two small fish, and yet these were more than enough to feed the thousands.
- The widow only had a little oil and a little meal, but she and her son survived the famine of three and a half years.
I pray that we learn to see things the way our God sees them.
Let us celebrate the little while the greatness is on the horizon. It will be the source of great blessing.
